ABSTRACT

The author intends to contribute a knowledge building research work in the management academia on the topic of career development of employee. The research article highlights the meaning of what career and career development is and how it is important for the organizations as well as employees in the ever changing organizational environment. The article also focuses on challenges faced and who bears the weight of responsibility of career development. Therefore the three main components of this very research article are human resource, organizations and career.
